The AppScooter is a Design-Award winning electric two wheeler by Ola Electric (formerly Etergo). The company’s uncompromising ambitions and vision for the product resulted in almost every component on the AppScooter being custom: designed in-house, and co-engineered with industry-leading suppliers.
I’ve been Lead Engineer on several of the hardware parts of the scooter. In each of those projects my contributions differ, but combined, they cover the full range of ‘conceptualization’, all the way to ‘design for manufacturing’.
What these parts have in common, is that for all I am the main person responsible for seeing that the parts are produced according to our specifications, planning, and of course, design.
